Kaitlyn Holloway Awarded 2009 Elk River Watershed Scholarship
The ERWIA is pleased to announce Kaitlyn Holloway is the recipient of the 2009
Elk River Watershed Scholarship. Kaitlyn wrote the award winning essay describing a
water quality issue she has witnessed in the Elk River Watershed and a community-based
solution to the problem. A recent graduate of McDonald County High School, Kaitlyn plans
to attend Crowder College where she'll begin her academic career in Elementary Education. The
2009 Elk River Watershed Scholarship was a partnership between ERWIA and Crowder College. She
received $1000 from ERWIA and another $1000 from Crowder College for educational expenses related
to her first year at Crowder College. Congratulations Kaitlyn and best wishes in all your endeavors!
